I’ve had a lot of exposure to this golden malted mix during my long career in restaurants — it honestly makes the absolute most delicious waffles. I’ve also had them when traveling, whenever a hotel has a waffle bar at breakfast.

I am usually a from-scratch snob and I rarely buy mixes, but true golden malted mix is even better than scratch! I’ve made loads of from-scratch waffles and I have to say that Golden Malted is still my favorite waffle.

I can’t quite explain why it’s so good, but there’s something amazing about the flavor, aroma, and the texture. This company has absolutely mastered waffles!

Fortunately, the ingredients are pretty much the same as a scratch batter and there aren’t a lot of chemicals or weird ingredients you’ve never heard of, so I don’t feel bad about liking it better.
 

My husband is a waffle lover from way back. For quite some time I have attempted recipes from friends etc for the perfect waffle. Nothing comes close to these light aromatic waffles. Finally, we have the best waffles ever and the easiest to make. Thank you for making these available to the average consumer! We both love them!!
